SNU Exam Pattern: Paper Pattern, Marking Scheme and Syllabus 

For 2023, only the School of Engineering will use both SNUSAT and APT. If candidates are applying to any other School, they do not need to take the APT. The SNUSAT is a computer-based test that measures proficiency in a language, the ability to apply the mind to simple problems, data interpretation, and logical and abstract reasoning. The APT tests subject knowledge.

SNU APT: If candidates are applying to any program in the School of Engineering, they are required to take two subject tests in Physics and Maths (45 minutes each).

SNIoE Online Design Aptitude Test (SNIoE ODAT): SNIoE ODAT is for candidates who have not appeared or qualified in UCEED or other Design Entrance Examinations and want to apply for B. Des. Admission.

Mode: Online

Exam Slots: 3 time slots each day.

Duration: 2 Hours

Paper Pattern: Logic and reasoning (60 marks) | General awareness (40 marks)

SNU Undergraduate Fee Structure 2023: B.Sc, B.Tech and B.A.

SNU Fee for B.Sc. (Research) Programs: Annual Fee Rs. 425840

Candidates who wish to pursue B.Sc. (Research) Programs from Shiv Nadar University have to pay Rs. 425840 on yearly basis. The overall fee includes tuition fee and living expenses like hostel fee, mess charges and laundry.

Candidates have to pay Rs. 425840 for doing B.Sc. (Research) Programs in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, English, History, International Relations, Sociology, Economics.

 

For B.Sc. (Research) Economics And Finance and Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) candidates have to pay Rs. 575840

SNU  Fee for B.Tech  Programs: For B.Tech. in  Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical and Computer Engineering candidates have to pay Rs. 525840 while for the Computer Science & Engineering the fee is Rs. 575840

The fee for SNU Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) is Rs. 625840 which is the highest among all the courses.

Also, candidates must note that the tuition, hostel, mess and laundry fees  may be revised annually by 5-8%. The hostel fee mentioned is for twin sharing non-AC rooms. Any other type of accommodation, including AC or single rooms will be charged additionally.

SNU Financial Aid and Scholarships:

The university offers scholarships and financial aid to deserving students. SNU Financial Aid and Scholarships will be provided to JEE (Advanced) top 500 ranks, UCEED top 50 ranks, Top 100 rank holders in class 12th from CBSE, ICSE, and Cambridge Board, Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Fellowship holders (Only for School of Natural Sciences Programs). The students from the listed schools  with combined family income below Rs 3 Lakhs per annum are eligible to apply for scholarships.

College Board India Scholar:

For this, the following conditions apply:

  1. Must be a resident of India
  2. Family income status less than INR 8,00,000 per annum
  3. SAT score equal to or higher than 1300 (out of 1600) that qualifies the test taker as a Top Performer
  4. Must have graduated from Class 12 in the year student applies for admission to an Indian Global Alliance member university in India

SNU Financial Aid and Scholarships:

The university offers scholarships and financial aid to deserving students. For all deserving students are required to submit the following documents with their financial aid form:

  1. Income Tax Returns of all earning members of the family
  2. Address Proof
  3. Bank Account Statements of all family members
  4. School Fee Receipt(s) of the applicant for grade XII
  5. School Fee Receipt(s) for the applicant’s sibling
  6. Details of Financial Asset(s) owned by the family
  7. Company’s Income Tax Returns and Bank Statements (in case any earning member of the family owns a Business)

SNU Sports Scholarship will be provided to deserving candidates who are playing Chess, Tennis, Badminton, Squash and Table Tennis.

Retaining SNU Scholarship or Financial Aid: Students who receive financial aid or scholarship must maintain CGPA 6.5 at the end of every Spring Semester to retain their scholarship. The financial aid committee of Shiv Nadar university IoE will make decision on your financial aid scholarship application and decision of committee will be final and binding.
