Xavier Aptitude Test commonly known as XAT is the MBA entrance exam that’s conducted via XLRI Jamshedpur for the admission of candidates into around 125 B-Schools in India. XAT 2018 is expected to be held on January 2018, which is the first Sunday of January. It is expected that the XAT 2016 exam pattern would be same as last year, which is paper pencil based test of 3 hours. The questions are both objective as well as subjective. XAT paper consists of 2 parts. Paper 1 is completely objective with 3 sections on Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability and Reasoning. The Paper 2 is a combination of subjective and objective questions from General Knowledge and Essay Writing sections. Apart from the graduation, these might include the past academic records and candidate profile. The XAT Eligibility Criteria will be uniform for all category students and there would not be any discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, religion or gender.
XAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria
- Those candidates who wish to apply for the exam must ensure that they must be having a bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university or they need to complete their Graduation by June 2018.
- Those students who score less than 50% in their graduation are also eligible to appear in the exam, but they have to submit their marks to the participating B-schools by June 2018.
- Those candidates who are currently appearing for their final year of Graduation can also apply on the condition that they have to submit the aggregate percentage of the previous passing year.
