WBJEE JENPARH 2016 is organized by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board. JENPARH 2016 is conducted for admission to B.H.M.S. (Homoeopathy), B.A.M.S. (Ayurvedacharyya), B.U.M.S. (Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery), B.P.T, B.Sc. Nursing and B.A.S.L.P during the academic session 2016-2017 through Joint Entrance Test (JENPARH) 2016.

WBJEE JENPARH 2016 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: You need to be a citizen of India.

B.H.M.S. and B.P.T.: You need to have cleared in the year 2016 or earlier the Higher Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent Board/Council of exam which is recognized by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. You need to have have subjects Physics, English, Chemistry, Biology and Vernacular or any other 5th subject. For admission you need to have individually cleared in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

B.A.M.S.: You need to have cleared in the year 2016 or earlier the Higher Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent Board/Council of exam which is recognized by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. You need to have subjects Physics, English, Chemistry, Biology and Vernacular or any other 5th subject. For admission you need to have a minimum of 50% total marks in Biology, Physics and Chemistry taken together.

B.U.M.S: You need to have cleared in the year 2016 or earlier the Higher Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (class 12th) exam which is recognized by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. You should have subjects Biology, English, Physics, Chemistry and Vernacular or any other 5th subject. For admission you need to have 50% total marks in Chemistry, Physics and Biology all together.

You also need to have cleared class 10th with Urdu or Arabic or Persian as a subject, or pass the test of Urdu in the entrance exam organized by the University or Board or recognized society which is authorized by the Government to hold such examination.

B.Sc. Nursing (Only female candidates are eligible) : You need to have cleared in the year 2016 or earlier the Higher Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent Board/Council (such as AISSCE / ICSE / CBSE / SSCE / HSCE etc.) of exam which is recognized by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. For admission you need to have 50% marks (40% for ST/SC) in the subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and pass marks in each subject individually.

B.A.S.L.P (Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology) : You need to have cleared in the year 2016 or earlier the Higher Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (class 12th) or its equivalent Board/Council of examination which is recognized by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. You need to have subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology /Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer science/Electronics/ Psychology.

Age: You need to be a minimum of 17 years as on 31st December 2016.

WBJEE JENPARH 2016 Exam Pattern

  • The test compromises of 2 papers named a) Biological Sciences (100 marks) and b) Physics & Chemistry (100 marks). Each paper would consists of fifty (50) questions .
  • All questions would be of MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) type. Answers need to be marked (bubbled) on OMR Answer Sheets using black /blue ball point pen only.
  • Each question would have 4 answer options of which only 1 is correct. Each correct response would fetch 2 marks, each incorrect response would fetch (-1/2) mark, whereas no response would fetch 0 mark. Multiple responses for any question would fetch (-1/2) mark.
  • The questions would be in Bengali and English language.

Syllabus : Questions would be on the basis of the syllabus of Higher Secondary Examination (class 12th) under West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE).
