UPES MET 2017 Entrance Exam is conducted by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies in the month of February and is completely computer based. The UPES MET 2017 entrance exam is organized each year by the university to admit candidates like yourself to its nine MBA programs. Those of you who make the grade in the Management Entrance Test of UPES will be eligible for admissions to the course of your choice.
The university offers these courses: – the Master of Business Administration (MBA) course offered in Power Management, Oil & Gas Management, Port & Shipping Management, Aviation Management, Energy Trading, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Infrastructure Management, International Business and Business Analytics.
UPES MET 2017 is a national level entrance exam conducted by the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun for various management courses.

UPES MET 2017 Eligibility Criteria:
In order to apply you have to be eligible and the UPSE MET 2017 Eligibility Criteria is mentioned below:
- You must have scored at least 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th).
- You must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in Graduation from a recognized University.
- Those of you whose CAT / MAT / CMAT / GMAT scores are not meeting the university -declared criteria, but still have at least 50percent marks in the Class 10th and Class 12th and at the university qualifying exam, can seek admission to UPES MBA programs by taking the UPES Online Management Entrance Test (UPESMET).
Please make note:
- ** Up to 50% seats are occupied through the National Level Tests category. In case candidates for such seats are vacant, UPES has the right to fill these seats through the UPES Entrance Test
- ** University reserves the right to change the Test Date or cancel the Test .University also reserves though right to conduct further physical (pen/paper) test/online test post managing the February online Test

Those of you wishing to pursue any of the MBA Programs through UPES MET 2017 must apply online by going to the university’s official website (www.upes.ac.in) and paying Rs.1850/- soon
If you choose to submit the physical print copy of the application form from the authorized UPES Enrolment offices by Cash (Rs.1750/-) or By Post through a Demand draft (Rs.1850/-) addressed as ‘UPES FEE ACCOUNT’ payable at Dehradun to be sent to New Delhi Enrolment offices: UPES, 2nd floor, 210 Okhla Phase 3, New Delhi-110020
UPES MET 2017 Exam Pattern:
Its always beneficial to know about the UPES MET 2017 Exam Pattern beforehand to prepare better. The UPES MET 2017 is a computer based test and consists of multiple choice objective type queries. The exam has to be completed in2.5 hours. The exam has 140 objective type questions on 4 sections namely General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability; Quantitative Area’s cover: Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency; General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. Each segment consists of 35 questions
The exclusive feature of this test is you can take the test from any appropriate location with a net connected PC and a webcam, e.g. home, office The test is centrally proctored to ensure the integrity of the test process is not compromised.
You will appear for the ONLINE test by logging in with your credentials from your computer connected with a webcam and an internet connection.
UPES MET 2017 Selection Procedure
You will be shortlisted on the basis of your UPES MET 2016 entrance test score. The short listed contenders will then participate in the Group Discussion and Interview rounds.
After wards based on your performance the final merit list of university eligible entrants is prepared
