UPES MET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

 

UPES MET 2017 Eligibility Criteria – Candidates who are want to get the MBA seat can apply the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies Management Entrance Test (UPES MBA) Admission 2016 before the last date of the application form. The University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) has been organized UPES MET 2016 Exam on every year.

Admission Notification 2017

Applicants with at least 50 Percent of marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th), and 50% marks at Graduation level from a well-known University, are qualified to appear for this exam. Though, the eligibility standards fluctuate according to programs.

Candidates having minimum admissible scores of Management Aptitude Test (MAT)/ Common Admission Test (CAT) / Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) / Narsee Monjee Management Aptitude Test (NMAT)/ Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) score will be excused from UPES Management Entrance Test and will be directly called for Group Discussion& Interview.

National Level Tests (CAT/MAT/GMAT/CMAT/NMAT)

For MBA Oil & Gas / Energy Trading / Logistics & Supply Chain Management / Power Management / International Business

Candidates having minimum Common Admission Test (CAT) score of 75% or Management Aptitude Test (MAT) score of 80% will be called directly for Group Discussion & Interview. Valid Common Management Admission Exam (CMAT) 2016 scores will also be acknowledged. Narsee Monjee Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) score of 170 and above.

For MBA Port & Shipping Management Infrastructure Management/ Aviation Management /Business Analytics

Candidates having minimum Common Admission Test (CAT) score of 70% or Management Aptitude Test (MAT) score of 75% will be excused from UPES Management Entrance Exam and will only be called for Group Discussion & Interview. Narsee Monjee Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) score of 160 and above.

UPES MET 2017 Paper Pattern

  • The exam will be directed online.
  • A total of 140 multiple choice objective type questions will be asked in the paper.
  • The time duration for this exam is 2.5 hours.
  • Each subject will contain of 35 questions.

UPES MET 2017 Admit Card

The applicants who were considered conditionally qualified as per the information filled in the application form were only allotted the admit card. The applicants were mandatory to attach their photo (duly attested) in the space offered on the admit card and provide the same admit card at the chosen test center on the exam date. The applicants without the admit card or card without the photo were not permitted to take the exam.
