Eligibility criteria for TBJEE 2017

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident Tripura.
  • Either he himself or any of his parents must be the residents in the state of
    Tripura for at least 10 years (not less than 10 years) immediately before the date of application for appearing at the Joint Entrance Examination 2017.
  • The candidate must possess higher secondary examination/ 12th grade from the Tripura Board of Secondary Education/ CBSC/ ICSE.
  • Age relaxation will be given as per the government rules pertaining to this very purpose.

TBJEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Children of All India Services Officers from the state of Manipur- Tripura Cadre and the Children of the Employees of the State Government posted outside Tripura will be eligible to appear at the Examination irrespective of their previous stay in Tripura. Candidates not having a permanent resident in Tripura but his/her parent is an officer on deputation of Tripura or an Officer of Central Government working in Tripura for a continuous period of 3 years and is due to appear or have passed Higher Secondary Examination from any institute in Tripura are eligible for appearing in the exam.

In case of wards of Ex- Servicemen, either the candidate or his/her parents staying in the state of Tripura continuously for at least 5 years prior to the date of making application for appearing for the JEE and the candidate must possess Higher Secondary Examination from any recognized institution of India can appear in the JEE.
