The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test commonly known as TANCET MBA 2018 is conducted by Anna University, Chennai in order to shortlist candidates for the MBA admission in the state of Tamil Nadu.

TANCET MBA Exam Eligibility Criteria

- The TANCET 2018 aspirants should be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university or institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates belonging to Reserved category should obtain at least 45% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.
- The candidates should be native residents of Tamil Nadu.
TANCET MBA Exam Pattern
The TANCET MBA Exam Pattern is as follows:
The test will be of the duration of 2 hours. The test paper will comprise of 100 objective type questions from 5 sections namely Reading Comprehension, English Grammar & Usage, Analysis of Business Situation, Quantitative Ability, and Data Sufficiency. The question paper will have 4 alternatives to each question.
TANCET MBA 2018 Selection Procedure
The final selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in TANCET 2018. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the counseling rounds. The final merit list will be declared on the basis of the test performance and counseling.
TANCET 2018 Application Form
Those aspirants who do wish to pursue various MBA Programs through TANCET 2018 can apply online or offline. The aspirants need to register themselves at the TANCET 2018 website and fill up the TANCET MBA Application Form. After that, they need to take a print out and send it to the exam authorities along with the Demand Draft and requisite documents.
In the offline application process, the candidates need to visit the Coordinating centers and submit the application form along with the documents and application fee which can be paid either by cash or by Demand Draft.

The hall tickets will be made available for the registered candidates only. Hall tickets will be sent to the candidates who have applied online. Those who apply offline can get their hall ticket during submission of application form at Coordinating centers.
TANCET Admit Card – The date of an admit card for TANCET Exam 2017 has been released on 14th March 2017. The exam will be conducted through pen & paper mode. Students can download the admit card through online mode. Students will not receive any hard of admit card by post or through email Admit card is an important aspect for every student. As it’s an entry gate for to enter an examination hall. Candidates will not be allowed to enter exam hall if they have not carried their hall ticket/ admit card along with them.
Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TAN CET) is a state level exam conducted by Anna University. Students can get admission for post graduation courses like MBA, MCA, ME, M Tech, M Plan and MArch degree.
TANCET 2018 RESULT
After results declaration, students can download the TANCET Exam Result. They need to visit the official website (www.annauniv.edu). Along with score card students need to download TANCET 2018 rank card.Scorecard means marks scored in each subject and total marks scored.Admissions will be on basis of merit list.
TANCET 2018 result is available through online mode. Students can visit the official site and can check the results. TANCET 2018 results will get released in the month of April 2018. Students can download answer keys a week before the results. Students can figure out tentative marks and can make plans for next step.

TANCET 2018 Counselling
After results declaration, Students need to go through the TANCET counseling session. It will be conducted through offline mode. Candidates need to visit the Counselling center allotted to them in person. Students should carry their original documents at the time of Counselling. They can select the college of their choice & seat will be allotted them.
TANCET 2018 Counselling will be held in last week of April 2018 or 1st Week of May 2018. Students plan their schedule as per the dates mention.
After counseling session is done, students need to complete all the admission formalities. They need to personally come & fulfill all the related formalities. If candidates fail to appear for counseling round or admission process, their admission will be canceled automatically. Their seat will be allotted to next candidate.
