NERIST NEE 2017 Complete Details

NERIST NEE 2017 commonly known as North Eastern Institute of Science & Technology is an entrance examination. This examination is commonly conducted for the admission of students for Certificate, Diploma and Degree programmed at different centers located in North Eastern States of India. Admission for Base section (Certificate) is done through NEE-1 exam, while admission of Diploma and Degree modules of Technology Stream and 4 years Degree in Forestry is done through NEE-2 and  NEE-3.

NERIST NEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants are eligible for the examination only if they satisfy following condition:

1. Applicants who are appearing for the Base module i.e. NEE-1:

  • Age limit of 19 years as on 1st August of particular year for general category and for SC/ST/PH is 24 years and 22 years for OBC and female applicants.
  • The Exam taker must have passed the Class 10th or metric of 10+2/Secondary examination or an equivalent in Science and Mathematics. The applicant must have passed in Science and Mathematics separately.
  • Students who are appearing for above examination and whose results are still not come can also appear for the NEE  Entrance Examination.

2. Applicants who are appearing for the middle module i.e. NEE-2

  • Age limit of 23 years as on 1st August of particular year for general category and for SC/ST/PH is 28 years and  26 years for OBC and female applicants.
  • Engineering and Technology Stream: Applicants with 10+2 PCM/ PCMB, 10+2 Vocational in Electronics/ Electrical / Farm Machinery & Equipment / Automobile Technology/Computer Science/Structure &
  • Fabrication Technology OR NERIST Certificate (E&T) Candidates with 10+2 (Vocational)/ NERIST certificate holders are eligible for admission in Computer Science and Engineering or in their respective branches 10+2 PCM/PCMB candidate should have passed in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics separately.
  • Forestry stream: 10+2 PCB/PCMB, 10+2 (vocational in Forestry/Horticulture) or NERIST Certificate (Forestry) 10+2 PCB/PCMB candidates should have passed in Physics, Chemistry & Biology separately.
  • Students who are appearing for above examination and whose results are still not come can also appear for the NEE Entrance Examination.

3. Applicants who are appearing for NEE-3 are as follows:

  • Age limit of 40 years as on 1st August of particular year for general category and for SC/ST/PH is 45 years and 43 years for OBC and female applicants.
  • The Exam must have passed the 3-year Diploma course from any Govt. recognized polytechnic in the respective or allied branch with 60% marks considering the aggregate marks of all the three years, or NERIST Diploma Module.
  • Diploma holders in the related branches as listed in the appendix are also eligible to apply.

Candidates who are interested must fill and submit the application form of NERIST NEE 2017.

Steps for applying for NERIST form are mentioned below:

Step No. 1 – Go to official website  www.neoonline.ac.in

Step No. 2 – Applicants are required to register themselves by entering personal, education and other required details.

Step No. 3 – After completion of registration applicant will receive login ID in both email & mobile.

Step No. 4 – Applicants are required to upload passport size photo of  40kb and signature of  20kb

Step No. 5 – The Exam taker can make payment through online by Debit or Credit Card or through Net Banking and payment through offline mode by Chelan at Axis Bank branches

Step No. 6 – After payment is done, submit the form and make print of it.
