CMAT 2017 Paper Pattern

CMAT 2017 Paper Pattern – The Common Management Admissions Test is commonly known as CMAT is a national level MBA admission test that is held via the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which is a national level Apex Advisory body which is vested with the statuary authority for technical education in India. CMAT is a computer based test that’s conducted bi-annualy and each candidate is eligible to appear in both the exams and the better of the two scores will be used for the purpose of admission  for each academic year. The paper pattern syllabus for this test helps in the breaking down of what exactly to focus on content wise and what carries more weightage.

CMAT 2017 Exam format

The CMAT 2017 is a computer based test and the candidate will be required to read the questions via a computer terminal and will have to choose the answer via clicking on the correct option.

CMAT 2017 Exam Syllabus

The Exam consists of 4 sections, Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. The topics for each section will include:

CMAT 2017 Paper Pattern:

CMAT 2017 is a computer based objective type multiple choice exam which has to be completed within the time duration of 180 minutes.  The Exam consists of 4 sections, Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. The total number of questions to be answered is 100 and the total marks are 400. Each section has 25 questions. The marking scheme of the exam is +4 for each correct answer and -1 for each wrong answer. There are 4 options for each question among which the test takers have to choose only 1 correct option.
