AIIMS Nursing 2017 – Answer Key, Result and Counselling Procedure

AIIMS B.Sc (Hons) Nursing 2017 counselling will be conducted in three steps. Those will be first counselling (on 18th, 19th & 20th July of 2017), second counselling (on 18th August of 2017), and an open counselling (on 27th September 2017)*. Here we got the details about first counselling.

AIIMS Nursing 2017 Counselling

The counselling process will be held strictly on the basis of the merit list. Candidates can choose the subject according to the rank and seat availability. For B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing Course, candidates will be called 4 times in counselling process for different categories. The Counselling order will be GEN/OBC/ST/SC. For all other courses, candidates will be called 8 times for counselling procedure.

All the candidates must carry all the documents mentioned above without fail on the counselling day. AIIMS B.Sc Nursing 2017 Counselling Procedure

  1. Officials will hold the Counselling Process strictly based on Merit List.
  2. According to the Rank and Availability of Seats, candidates can select the subject of their choice.
  3. The authorities will call the candidates four times for B.Sc (Hons) Nursing Course for different categories.
  4. Firstly, Officials will call the General Category Candidates.
  5. Then, they will call the candidates belonging to OBC Category.
  6. The dates are different for each category.
  7. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences authorities will verify the documents produced by the candidate.
  8. Candidates will be called in chronological order of General, OBC, ST and SC Categories.
  9. For all the other Programs other than B.Sc (Hons), authorities will call eight times for AIIMS B.Sc Nursing 2017 Counselling Process.
  10. The Officials will allow the seats to candidates depending on the performance of the student in All India Institute of Medical Sciences B.Sc Nursing Entrance Test 2017.

AIIMS Nursing 2017 Result

Candidates can check their AIIMS Nursing Result on the official portal. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the entrance exam. Candidates can also inform through email/SMS in the registered email Id and Mobile number. No separate call letter will be sent to the candidates by post.

AIIMS Nursing 2017 Eligibility Criteria

You need to meet the following eligibility criteria if you desire to apply for AIIMS BSc Nursing examination:

  • Those of you applying for this course are required to clear 10+2 or equivalent examination with subjects being Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from one of the recognised universities in the state or India.
  • Those of you who desire to pursue B.Sc Nursing course need to have cleared their 10+2 with total marks of 55% if they belong to General category while 50% if they are from reserved categories.
  • Those of you of B.Sc Nursing course need to obtain the General Nurse along with Midwifery and essentially they should be an A’ grade nurse from one of the registered State Nurse Registration Council which is applicable if they are female individuals.
  • In the case of male individuals, it is necessary that you need to obtain General Nurse along with training in two of the subjects that are Venereal Disease Nursing, Tuberculosis Nursing, Ophthalmic Nursing, Physiatrist Nursing and Operation Theatre Techniques.
  • It is essential that both male and female individuals should essentially have 3 years of work experience as a Staff Nurse either in a recognised hospital or else as a public health nurse.

To apply for B.Sc Nursing Entrance Examination the age limit is all of you need to be more than 17 years of age as on 31st December of the applying year.

AIIMS Nursing 2017 Application Form

Following you would find details on AIIMS Nursing application form and registration process. The entrance exam details are published in leading Newspapers and AIIMS official websites i.e. www.aiims.edu and www.aiims.ac.in

Those of you who belong to General or OBC or do not have the reservation are required to pay an application fee of Rs.1000/.

Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe have to submit Rs. 800/- as the application fee.

You need to make the payment either through Debit or Credit cards or through the
computer generated Bank challan at any of the branches of SBI.

You would have to follow the below guidelines while you fill the application form:

  • You are required to apply for this examination in online mode only. First, you need to visit the official website that is www aiimsexams.org.
  • Next, you need to register on the website by entering basic details on the registration page. Then the login details are received on your mobile number as well as email id which you have given in the registration.
  • Now you need to log in with the login credentials you have received and fill the application form with all correct details. Upload recent passport size, colour photograph and scanned image of a signature.
  • Then pay the application fee of Rs. 1000/- either through credit or debit card else click on the link for bank challan and submit the form. Now, download the filled in application form and take its printout for future reference.

Mostly the application forms are available from the 1st week of April of every academic year and available till the last week of April and Examination is mostly conducted in last week of June.

AIIMS BSc Nursing 2017 Exam Pattern

The syllabus varies for both B.Sc (Hons) Nursing and B.Sc (Post Certificate) Nursing courses. In B.Sc (Hons) Nursing, the time duration of examination is 2 hours with the syllabus from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge with total marks being 100.

In B.Sc (Post Certificate) Nursing, there would be 2 stages that are Written and Interview respectively. In the written test, the topics that would be covering are fundamentals of Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing which includes Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology, Obstetrics and Midwifery, Pediatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing and Professional Trends in Nursing.

AIIMS Nursing 2017 Admit Card

AIIMS Nursing 2017 Admit Card will be available through online mode from the official portal. The admit card of B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing 2017 and B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) 2017 will be announced in the second week of May 2017.

Admit card of AIIMS B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) is expected to be released online in the second week of May 2017. AIIMS B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) 2017 Admit Card will be issued only for the candidates who have successfully submitted their application. As AIIMS B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) 2017 Admit Card is a mandatory document to get entrance in the exam hall, every candidate is advised to keep their Admit Card safely.
