The Supreme Court (SC) on Friday declared the extension of the publicization of the All India Pre-Medical and Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) 2015 results by 17th August.
CBSE claims its “impossible” to reconduct within four weeks
The Supreme Court consented to hear CBSEs plea seeking for extension to re-conduct the AIPMT exam as it is not possible for the board to meet the 4 weeks deadline given by the apex court and the vacation bench comprising of RK Agarwal and Amitava Roy to the plea as it was a matter of grave concern.(SC’s decision is still under process on this topic.)
Related to our previous post due to the discrepancies detected in the 3rd May AIPMT examination the apex court cancelled the test on 15th June and directed the CBSE to hold a retest within four weeks, following which the CBSE held a meeting to discuss the dates and venues of the re-examination but have approached the top court again.
Several students and parents alike have appealed for the cancellation of the results pertaining to the answer key leaks and cheating accusations. The investigation is still pending and also all the beneficiaries haven’t yet been identified the apex court took a decision in favor of the students against the declaration of results.
The results were previously delayed due to SC hearings and was later annulled thus the students who are already anxious about their future are worried more so as this is delaying the whole admission process and the academic year.
