The Sri Rama Himalayan University will not send any separate call letter for the candidates who are desperately waiting for counselling. The counselling will be conducted in two sections. It is expected that the counselling of SRHU Admission will be conducted in the month of August or September of 2017. Usually, the counselling session of SRHU MBBS Admission will be conducted in the morning time. The admissions into MBBS program in SRHU MBBS Admission 2017 will be done on the basis of provisional merit list. This merit list will be prepared by the SRH University on the basis of scores obtained by candidates in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
SRHU MBBS Admission 2017 – Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility for admission into MBBS program through SRHU MBBS Admission will be based on three major factors. All the candidates who are applying for SRHU MBBS Admission 2017 must meet the eligibility criteria credentials. Majorly the SRHU MBBS Admission will be done on the basis of the following three factors. Those are the following.
- Eligibility Based on Qualification.
- Eligibility Based on Age.
- Eligibility Based on NEET.

SRHU MBBS Admission 2017 – Eligibility Based on Qualification
All the candidates who are applying for SRHU MBBS Admission 2017 must have qualified their 10+2/ HSC/ ISC/ Intermediate Examination/ or any equivalent. Candidates must have qualified the above-given qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, Mathematics, and English as major subjects. Candidates have qualified the qualifying examination with the following minimums.
- An aggregate minimum of 60% of marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Biotechnology taken together. The same will be a minimum of 50% only for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates.
- A separate minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Biotechnology which taken separately. The same will be a minimum of 40% only for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates.
SRHU MBBS Admission 2017 – Eligibility Based on Age
Candidates who are appearing in for SRHU MBBS Admission 2017 must check their eligibility on age also. Take a look at the following points to know more about the eligibility based on the age.
- Every candidate who is applying in for SRHU MBBS Admissions 2017 must have completed a minimum age of 17 years at the time of admission/ they should complete the same as on or before of the year of their Admission into MBBS program. Candidates are allowed to provide their 10th Standard certificate only for the record of Date of Birth proof.
- Candidates who are more aged than 25 years as on 31st December of 2017 are not eligible.
SRHU MBBS Admission 2017 – Eligibility Based on NEET
All the candidates who are applying for SRHU MBBS Admission 2017 must have qualified the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) which has conducted by the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). Candidates who have not appeared in NEET and not qualified in NEET are not eligible to apply for the same. Candidates have to qualify the NEET examination in the same year of seeking admission into MBBS programs.
SRHU MBBS Admission 2017 – Reservation of Seats
The SRHU seat availability of seats for 2017 MBBS admission has not yet officially announced by the university. Once the official authority of SRHU publishes the notification on the seat availability of SRHU MBBS Admission 2017, we will update the same here. For now, take a look at the previous year reservation of seat details to get an idea of the method of seat availability in SRHU. In last year the SRHU had a total number of 150 (Hundred and fifty) MBBS seats for the academic session which begins from 2016. Take a look at the following image which shows the seat availability information of last years.
In last year’s seat reservation practice, the following segments are also considered. It is expected that the process will be the same. So the following points will show the consideration.
- The 40% of total seats are reserved for the candidates who are permanent residents of the state of Uttarakhand. After this consideration also if any seats are still remaining vacant, they will consider the candidates from All India Category.
- The seat reservation technique which mentioned above can be changeable by the University from time to time according to the order of State Government reservation policy.
- Candidates who are getting admission under permanent resident category will be getting a 26% rebate in the tuition fee.
- Candidates who all are having the locomotor disability of lower limbs (as per MCI regulation) will be considered under PwD (Physically Handicapped) category.
