PAT 2017 (Assam Polytechnic) Admit Card : Assam Polytechnic Admission Test 2017 or known as PAT 2017 will be conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Assam. Candidates who have submitted their online application as per given date will be able to download Pat 2017 Admit Card. Every candidate must carry their Admit Card to the exam hall on the day of the exam.

Admit Card for PAT will be issued by DTE, Assam on 12th May of 2017. Admit Card or known as Hall Ticket will be issued only for the candidates who have submitted their application form successfully. All the credentials will be printed on PAT 2017 Admit Card, after downloading it please thoroughly check that all the credentials printed are correct and verifiable.

To download PAT 2017 Admit Card, you need to follow these steps.
- Visit official web page of DTE, Assam at dteassam.in
- There will be a link under ‘Polytechnic Admission Test’, click on it to login.
- Read instructions given in the page about downloading admit card.
- Proceed to download.
- Enter your credentials at given boxes on the page.
- Click on Download Admit card.
- Save and Print it on an A4 size paper.
- Keep it safe.
Candidates must carry admit card without fail on the day of the exam. Without admit card no candidates will be allowed to enter their examination hall and take the test.

Polytechnics are basically any Diploma Course in Engineering & Technology. Eligibility qualification for these courses is H.S.L.C (10th STD) or equivalent. Eligibility according to age will be following. For all polytechnic colleges in Assam, the age limit of general category candidate must be born on or after 1st August of 1997 and in SC/ST category it will be on or after 1st August 1994. For all polytechnic colleges outside Assam (these seats will be allotted by Government of India) upper age limit will be 21 years as on 1st August of 2017. Major aims of polytechnic courses are to produce technicians at supervisory level to meet the demand for technical manpower in various fields of development. This brochure aims at bringing out guidelines towards Technical Education to enable the young boys and girls to build their career by getting they admitted into various courses of Technical Studies available at the State Polytechnics of Assam.
