OTET 2018– OTET stands for Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test which is organized by Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha every year to shortlist the candidates for the position of teachers within the state. The appointment of the teachers for Classes I to VIII in government, private aided & unaided schools of Odisha will be done on the basis of OTET 2018 exam. The application form of OTET 2018 will be released in the 3rd week of August 2018. All the interested candidates can fill the application form till the 1st week of September 2018. The exam will be held in the last week of September 2018. OTET 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Odisha board has published the eligibility norms of OTET 2018 Exam. The candidate should be eligible. The candidates should know the importance of their eligibility.
- For Paper 1:
50% aggregate marks and two years diploma in elementary education for Senior Secondary.
- For paper 2:
Minimum 50% aggregate marks and a diploma in elementary education for Graduation.
OTET 2018 Application Form

- Only the online mode is available.
- The amount of fee is Rs 350 which will be paid only through the SBI Challan mode.
- The candidate must have to upload his latest photograph in the jpeg format.
- The registration number and password will be sent through email or SMS.
- There are two papers namely Paper 1 (For class I to V) and Paper 2 (For Class VI – VIII).
- The exam is of objective type with four alternatives.
- There will no negative marking.
- Each question consists of 1 mark.
- There are 150 questions in total.

OTET 2018 Result
The result of OTET 2018 will be announced in the month of October 2018 by the exam organizing authority i.e. BSE, Odisha. The result shows the list of qualified candidates. To qualify, 60% marks in a must. The qualified candidates will then join the interview process.
