NTSE Result 2019

NTSE Result 2019 will be declared by National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) in the month of August 2019. NTSE follows the two-tier exam pattern where State/ UTs conduct the stage 1 as if it is a state-level exam while Stage 2 is a national level exam hence conducted by NCERT. Both State level and National level NTSE exams will be conducted through the offline medium only i.e. it is a pen and paper based endeavour. NTSE Result 2019 for Stage 1 will be released state-wise in the month of August 2019 while that for stage-2 will be declared in June 2019. All states and Union Territories will be held responsible for the declaration of the result as well as for any discrepancy if arises in the respective State/ UT. Candidates who will appear for National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) 2019 can check their results through the official window of NCERT. The Results of NTSE can be checked after entering Roll Number and Date of Birth. Candidates can also check below final list (category-wise) of selected candidates.


NTSE 2019 Qualifying Criteria

As per NTSE Exam, the qualification criteria varies for different subjects and papers. According to the category candidates belong to, they can find the minimum qualifying mark required in the below table

    #: The number of qualifying paper will not be given weightage while preparing the final NTSE Merit.

    In any case, if an applicant finds any irregularity or discrepancy in NTSE Result 2019 and Scores, the same ought to be conveyed to the notice of authorities and division through email. Candidates need to send the mail to ntsexam.ncert@gov.in as soon as possible by August. It must be kept in mind that no correspondence will be entertained after the stipulated time and date.

    The final NTSE result 2019 will be declared after reviewing the discrepancies as reported by the candidates through mails.

    The candidates from unreserved and reserved categories need to score 40% and students appear in the NTSE Qualifying round and only 0.02% of them ware expected to qualify and get the scholarship. In both stages of NTSE exam, the NTSE will be allotting the specific quota in the initial phases. It simply means that in the stage 1, the candidature from across the nation will be accepted where no quota will be allotted in the second stage.

    How to check NTSE 2019 Result

    Candidates need to follow the procedure detailed below for checking Scores of MAT, SAT and Language Test of NTSE 2019

    • Click on the official NTSE 2019 Result link/window below
    • Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth at the designated boxes (Date of Birth need to be entered in the DD/MM/YYYY format)
    • The NTSE Result 2019 will be displayed on the screen once you enter the captcha code visible on the right-hand side and hit “Submit”.
    • Check your NTSE Result and Scores for MAT, SAT and Language tests
    • Download and take a printout of the result and save a copy for future reference.

    The marks of LAT i.e. Language Assessment Test is considered in Stage 1 but not in Stage 2 for the merit. 

    NTSE Result 2019 for Final Stage 

    • The scholarships will be awarded only to those students who will successfully qualify stage 2. In previous 3 years on average around 775 General candidates, 150 SC and 50 ST candidates qualified the exam.
    • Note: Only Candidates who will clear stage 2 are eligible for the scholarships i.e. it is mandatory to clear both the stages of NTSE 2019.

    NTSE Result will be declared in PDF format and shows the various particulars viz:

    • Candidate’s Name
    • Father’s Name
    • Address of School
    • Gender
    • Caste Category
    • Disability Status
    • Descriptive details of marks in each test i.e.
    1. Assigned marks of MAT out of 50 ,
    2. Assigned marks of SAT out of 50,
    3. Assigned marks of LAT out of 50,
    4. Collective marks out of 150,
    5. Rank of the candidate.
