NTSE Cut Off 2019– The state boards have released cut off for the candidates who have appeared in NTSE 2019 phase 1 exam. The candidates who clear the cut off are eligible to take up the NTSE phase 2 exam which is scheduled to be held on 12 May 2019. The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national-level scholarship exam cum program conducted by NCERT every year, consecutively. Students studying in class 10 and below the age of 14 or equal to the same are eligible to appear in the NTSE 2019 Examination which comprises of 2 stages. NTSE 2019 has been conducted in the month of November 2018 whereas the Stage 2 exam will be conducted by NCERT itself in the month of May for the qualifying candidates of Stage 1 across India. Candidates who have already appeared for NTSE examination Stage 1 need to meet NTSE 2019 cut off score to be marked for the NTSE Stage 2 examination. Similarly, to qualify the final stage of scholarship test, there is an NTSE cut off score for stage 2 also, which the candidates need to score anyhow. The cut off of NTSE 2019 will be like a benchmark needed to be achieved in order to qualify for the next round of attaining a scholarship. The NTSE 2019 cut off of Stage 1 paper will be declared by the State Education Board of each state whereas the NTSE cut off 2019 for Stage 2 will be declared by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) after the commencement of the respective examinations. Candidates should keep in mind that they would be allowed to sit for the Stage 2 examination only if they achieve the NTSE cut off 2019 of Stage 1. In case of failure to achieve the cut off in stage 1, the candidates would be disqualified to appear in the second stage.

Latest Update: The board of each participating states has released the NTSE cut off 2019 for qualifying to NTSE phase 2 exam. The students can check the same on the official website of their board. 

NTSE 2019 cut off of Stage 1

    The Stage 1 examination of NTSE 2019 has been conducted in the month of November 2018 by the State Education Board. Every State and Union Territory has also declared the cut off of NTSE 2019 in the month of January 2019. The NTSE cut off 2019 will mention the minimum marks a candidate needs to score to qualify for both the stages of examination and finally attain the scholarship amount meant for each of them.

    Facts about the NTSE 2019

    1. All the Indian Nationals who are studying or residing abroad can also successfully appear for the NTSE 2019
    2. All the 10th standard candidates who are interested to appear in the NTSE examinations must make sure that they send the photocopy of the mark sheet of the previous standard examination along with two passport size photographs along with the application form.
    3. All the application forms that are filled duly by the students appearing in the NTSE stage 1 and 2 must make sure that they submit the forms to the liaison officer and not to NCERT directly
    4. No extra application form, fee or registration has to be performed by any of the students for the NTSE stage 2 even if they get qualified through stage 1
