NIT Warangal admissions 2017 Apply for Ph.D course in various disciplines

The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal has declared an admission notification welcoming students to apply for its full time and part time Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme. The final date for the submission of an application form is October 27.

The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal has released an admission notification inviting applications from all those students who are eligible and interested to apply for its full time and part time Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme in the following disciplines:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Electronics and Communications Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Metallurgical and Materials Engineering
  • Biotechnology
  • Computer Science Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics
  • Humanities
  • Social Sciences and School of Management for the academic session 2017
  • Physics


    Eligibility criteria

    Educational qualification:

    Ph.D in Engineering and Science: The interested candidates those who are applying for this programme should be holding a post-graduate degree in basic science with NET/GATE qualification; or post-graduate degree in professional programmes.

    Ph.D in Humanities and Social Sciences: Those students who are interested in applying for this programme must be holding in English with NET qualification and having studied BCom/BSc/BA.

    Those who are in the final year of qualifying degree can also apply.

    Selection procedure:

    You would be selected based on an institute entrance test and/or an interview. The selected students for admission for PhD under full-time basis are expected to stay on the campus.
