Noida– For the first day of the examination, MIL that stands for Mother India Language question paper leaked on social media. The question paper leaked about an hour after the commencement of the annual High School Certificate examination on Friday. It is the first day of the HSC examination which is conducted by Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha.
As per the report presented by IANS, the Mother India Language (Odia) question paper surfaced on social media platforms in Nuapada and Dhenkanal districts. After the release of reports, Badri Narayan Patra, School and Mass Education Minister said that mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the examination centres.
Patra Said, “As per the rules, question papers are transported to nodal centres and kept there in police custody. It was dispatched to exam centres under tight police security. There is no way the paper could leak as the packets were opened in the presence of officials”. He completed denied the allegation.
While asked from the authority of Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, they confirmed that the Odia question paper was circulated on social media. Jahan Ara Begum, BSE President, confirms the allegation and said “The question paper was leaked after the commencement of the exam and the board will conduct an inquiry into the matter.”
The checking and security system was strict at the examination centres. But despite of strict security MIL question paper leaked on social media. Paper was surfaced on Whatsapp just after the exam started. Photographs and screenshots were also found on facebook.
Approximately, 5.87 lakh students appeared for the Annual HSC Examination 2019 this year which is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) in the State of Odisha.
