NTA UGC NET answer key to be released on December 30

Noida: NTA UGC NET answer key will be released on December 30, 2018, says Vineet Joshi, DG at NTA. According to him, answer key for the UGC NET exam held from 18 to 22 December 2018. The National Testing Agency, also known as NTA, will release the answer key of the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) examinations on Sunday, December 30. Vineet Joshi confirmed it by saying The answer key of the UGC NET examination is scheduled to be released on Sunday, December 30, if not, the answer key will surely be released on Monday, December 31, 2018. He also said the result will be declared as per the schedule announced earlier on the official website of NTA.

The candidates who have appeared in the UGC NET exam can check the answer key on the official website of NTA when it gets uploaded. The candidates can download the answer key by clicking a link given on the NTA’s website. After checking the answer, the candidates can also raise objection on the question if they are not satisfied with any. To send complaint against discrepancies, the candidates need to pay Rs 1000 per question challenged as processing charges. The recorded responses are likely to be displayed within 3 to 5 days. A panel will check the challenges and release a final answer key, in case they find there is an incorrect one. To raise challenges or check their results, candidates might need the relevant documents to support their query.

IGC NET December 2018 exam was held from 18 to 22 December at various exam centres throughout the country. Over 1.8 lakh students appeared in the UGC NET 2019 exam and a total of 65.3 % candidates appeared in the exam on the very first day and 72.8 per cent of candidates appeared in the exam on second day that is on 22 December 2018. This was the first time when the National Testing Agency (NTA) has successfully organized the UGC NET exam earlier handled by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
