NOIDA– As per a notice published on the official website of JEE Main, NTA has conveyed notification that multiple application forms for JEE Main 2019 submitted by a single candidate will be disqualified. The exact words in the notice were, “only one Application is to be submitted by a Candidate. More than one application i.e. multiple application forms submitted by a Candidate will be rejected.” Hence, the students who submitted only one application form can take a sigh of relief.
The official notice means that in case of multiple applications received from a candidate, not even a single application form will be considered for further processing.
While submitting the JEE Main application form 2019, if the confirmation page stating the application completion process is not showing up, then it means the application fee was not successfully processed. In such a situation, students need to re-initiate the fee payment process, not the application form submission.
From 2019 onwards, NTA has been designated to conduct JEE Main exam twice in a year- January and April. JEE Main January 2019 has already been conducted and the result of the same has also been declared by NTA.
Total 9,29,198 candidates had filled the JEE Main January Application Form 2019, out of which 8,74,469 turned up for the exam to secure their admission at top engineering colleges for B.Tech/ BE/ B.Arch programs. 15 students were declared the toppers with 100 percentile in JEE Main January 2019.
The second phase of JEE Main 2019 exam is scheduled to be held between 7th– 20th April 2019 and the application form for the same can be filled by 8th March 2019.
