NOIDANTA reopens application form of JEE Main 2019NTA (National Testing Agency) has re-opened the application window for the candidates who already registered for JEE Main 2019 April exam. The window is re-opened mainly for those candidates who fall under the category of EWS (Economically Weaker Section) and couldn’t change their status due to unavailability of the option. Now the window will have the option for EWS category and the candidates will be enabled to change their status.

The window will remain open for 4 days from 11th March to 15th March 2019. Candidates, who fall under the category of EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category, as directed by the government, will have to change their status to avail the benefits of this reservation scheme. The candidates applying under EWS quota scheme will have to provide their original documents to claim their reservation while admission.

How to update EWS quota in JEE Main Application Form 2019?

  • Go to the official website i.e. jeemain.nic.in
  • On homepage, click on ‘LOGIN’
  • Fill your application number and other asked detail to login
  • Click on ‘Reservation’ section and change your status

As per the recent declaration by the government, the candidates with family income of less than Rs. 8 LPA will come under the EWS quota and claim their reservation.

Government has also instructed all the institutions to add more seats to their current capacity under the EWS quota. Even the central institutes like IITs will also add seats. It shows that with more number of seats, the number of qualifying candidates will also be high.
