NTA Releases Notification about JEE Main, UGC, GPAT Exam Process

Noida 28th September 2018: NTA or National Testing Agency is the leading authority to conduct UGC NET, CMAT, JEE, GPAT and NEET examinations. It has published the notification today, September 27, 2018 pertaining to the schedule and process of these significant examinations. The mode of all these exams would be Computer based test or CBT in which the applicants will have to appear for online test on computer for specified time duration. Let’s understand about the guidelines and process pertaining to the exams of UGC NET, CMAT, JEE, GPAT and NEET for the year 2018 and 2019. To get clarity on the exam layout, the candidates can get the access of the mock tests through the website of UGC NET that is ntanet.nic.in. According to the notification published by NTA, the answers can be altered, if needed, during the test.

The applicants can save the answer by simply clicking the button of “Save & Next” and if they want to select the question for review even it they have not answered, they can tap on the “Mark for Review & Next” tab.

The candidates also have the choice to make changes in any of the answers that were saved previously during the examination.

In order to make changes in the answer of a particular question, the candidates need to choose the same question from the Question Palette and then tap on “Clear Response” to delete the previously mentioned answer and thereafter follow the usual process for answering the question.

Process of UGC NET, CMAT and GPAT, JEE and NEET examinations 2018 and 2019

All the appearing candidates would be given a separate system or computer. They are supposed to mention their log in details on the computer before giving the exam. Once the login is done, the applicants will be able to get the information of the related instructions of the exam.

The applicants are recommended by the authority to read the guidelines sincerely and thoroughly that contains the details of marking scheme, type of questions etc. There will be the display of the countdown timer in the top right corner of the screen.

The moment the timer turns to zero, the test will be ended automatically. The applicants need not to submit the test or end it once the timer becomes zero. There will be the availability of blank white sheets for the applicants to do calculations or any kind of rough work related to the test.

The candidates cannot carry the electronic gadgets or any other objectionable stuff with them while appearing for the exam.
