Mumbai University reschedules its exams due to Lok Sabha elections

NOIDA– Two Maharashtra universities have rescheduled their exam date sheets after the declaration of Lok Sabha election. Few of the dates of their exams were overlapping the election dates, as per the statement conveyed by an official.

As per Election Commission, Maharashtra election will take place in four phases on 11th, 18th, 23rd, and 29th April. It’s the exam time in Mumbai University and one more university which comes under the Maharashtra constituency.

Taking this into account, Mumbai University has changed the exam dates of BA and B.Com, which were scheduled on April 22, 23, 24, 29 and 30, as per an official from the varsity.

He added, “Students will get to know about the new schedule on the university portal soon.”

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra has also communicated the same to the students regarding the change of exam schedule.

The exams scheduled on April 18 and 23 by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada will be held on some other dates due to election. They will also declare the new dates soon.
