The premiere edition of Kerala Women Economic Forum (WEF) will be organized on the campus of IIM Kozhikode. It is reckoned a globally-acknowledge platform for enhancement and networking of women leadership.
IIM Kozhikode statement mentioned that it will be a 2-day event and will take place on 22nd and 23rd of August 2019. It is anticipated that this event, led by All Ladies League (ALL), is going to witness the humble presence of over 400 women entrepreneurs, delegates, and speakers from all around the world.
In WEF, the emphasis will be laid on conducting the sessions on business development, networking, learning, and entrepreneurship.
All Ladies League, through this event, assemble women from 150+ countries from different parts of the globe on a common platform to increase the value of their professional and personal lives.
It’s considered an open window where professional women can explore a sea of business opportunities, meet mentors, find markets, and nurture the traits of leadership & entrepreneurship.
IIM Kozhikode Director, Prof. Debashis Chatterjee said, “WEF event will help in taking IIM Kozhikode’s legacy of encouraging the participation of women for leadership in the industry and diverse business communities.
According to the statement, IIMK has become the foremost b-school in India to promote gender parity under their flagship program.
Recovering from a historical dip of below 10%, the PGP batch of 2015-17 reached a high of 54% women at IIMK.
IIMK also has the distinction of creating the supernumerary exclusive batch of women in PGP from 2019.
