Noida- The application forms for Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE) have been released by JNU for admissions today i.e. 15 March 2019. It is the first time that National Testing Agency (NTA) has taken the responsibility to conduct the entrance examination for Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) admissions.
Application forms have been released from today and will be available till 14 April 2019. It is advisable to the candidates to fill the application form before the last date as no application will be entertained after that.
Candidates submitting the application form successfully are advised to download their admit card from the official portal of JNU. Admit cards will be uploaded by the authority from April 22, 2019. Admit cards can be downloaded till the day of examination and is important to be carried at the centre of examination.
The Entrance examination will be conducted on May 27, 2019 and will be continued till May 30, 2019. As per JNU, e-prospectus for admission on 3,383 seats has been uploaded today on the official portal of JNU- jnu.ac.in. The 3,383 seats include 1,043 seats for M.Phil and Ph.D. courses. JNUEE will be organized at 127 cities across India. Last year, It was conducted in 51 cities.
JNUEE will be objective type examination which will conduct via online mode i.e. computer-based examination. The result of M.Phil and Ph.D. courses will be declared on June 20, 2019.
NTA will provide the candidate with access to test practice centres where they will get familiar with the computer-based examination.
The participating schools are: School of International Studies (SIS), School of Life Sciences (SLS), School of Environmental Sciences (SES), School of Social Sciences (SSS), School of Physical Sciences (SPS), School of Computer & Systems Sciences (SC&SS), School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies (SL), School of Computational and Integrative Sciences (SC&IS), School of Arts & Aesthetics (SAA), School of Biotechnology (SBT), Centre for Sanskrit Studies (CSS), Centre for Molecular Medicine (CMM), Centre for the Study of Law & Governance (CLG), Centre for Nano Sciences (CNS).
