JK Lakshmipat University honors ex PM Manmohan Singh with Laureate Award

On Saturday, Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was honored by JK Lakshmipat University with JKLU Laureate Award 2019 for his remarkable contribution in governance, economic reformation, public service, and nation building.

Singh addressed the attendees with his insights and vision on ”Strengthening Roots of Democracy in India” while delivering the ”Hari Shankar Singhania Memorial Oration”, which is annually organized to celebrate the contributions of JKLU”s first Chancellor Hari Shankar Singhania to the development of education in our nation.

Ex PM was quite delighted after receiving JK Lakshmipat University Laureate Award and delivering the Memorial Oration. He also termed Late Hari Shankar Singhania as a pioneer captain of industry and a philanthropist. He praised the Singhania Family and their contribution to the nation as J K Organisation.

According to ex PM, the JK Organisation has been contributing to the economic and social growth of India for 125 years now. Only a handful of people who belong to JK Organisation have been remarkably contributing to the growth of the nation, which is appreciable.
