Noida- The date of JEE Mains examination has been rescheduled National Testing Agency (NTA) due to Lok Sabha elections. The examination was scheduled on 7, April 2019 to 20 April 2019. Now as per the new schedule, it will be organized on April 7 for paper 2- B. Arch/B. Planning and Paper 1 – B.E/B. Tech will held on April 8, 9, 10 and 12 2019. The Lok Sabha elections 2019 has been scheduled on April 11, 18, 23, and 29 as well as on May 6, 12, and 19 2019.

Candidates who have applied for JEE Mains 2019 can download their admit cards from the official website which was released on March 20, 2019, and will be available till the day of examination.

Joint Entrance Examination which is popularly known as JEE Mains is an entrance examination conducted by National Testing Agency twice in a year, once in January and other in April. The motive of organizing JEE mains is to select deserving candidates to offer admission into UG level programs in the field of Engineering and Architecture offered by top government institutions such as IITs, IIITs, NITs, ISM Dhanbad and other participating institutions.

JEE Mains is a highly completive examination conducting by NTA. Every year lakhs of students fill the application forms to appear in the examination. The application of those candidates who have applied for January examination is also invited for the April examination.

JEE Mains is conducted via online mode i.e. computer-based examination across India. JEE Mains is consisting of two papers; Paper 1 for B.E/B.Tech and Paper 2 for B.Arch/B.Planning. Paper two will be an offline examination. Paper 1 will be consisting of objective type questions. However, Paper 2 will contain questions from mathematics and aptitude section. Mathematical and aptitude questions will be objective and drawing test will be subjective type in nature.

The examination will be conducted at various examination centres. The examination will be of three hours and will be conducted in shifts. The timing of the morning shift is 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM and that of the afternoon is 02:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Only paper 1 will be conducted in shifts while paper 2 will commence on first shift only.'
