A new notification from Bihar board announced that Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam Board will no longer conduct the BCECE (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam ) for the admissions of Engineering & Medical colleges of Bihar. The admissions will be done on the basis of the result in the JEE Main for mathematics students and NEET Exam for biology students of science stream.
Previously, the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam Board used to conduct the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam to take candidates for admission in the state colleges of Bihar. Further, with the release of notification by the Bihar board, from this year onwards the admission for engineering and medical will be done on the basis of JEE Main and NEET Exam respectively.
The application Form filling procedure for the BCECE was likely to begin from the Month of February 2019 and so the exam was scheduled for the month of April 2019. Now since the BCECE has been scrapped, none of these events will take place. And due to this, the board has adviced the candidates to register for JEE Main and NEET.
The Bihar resident candidates longing to pursue engineering and medical programmes in state colleges of Bihar have to register for either National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET ) or Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Exam for April Session 2019 which will be starting from 8th February and will continue until 7th March 2019 in online mode only. Also, one must know that the national testing agency (NTA) will be conducting both the examinations to give the opportunity to candidates to achieve their ambition.
