The IIT Roorkee (The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee) has announced JEE Advanced Result 2019 on the official JEE Advanced website (jeeadv.ac.in.). The candidates can check their results on jeeadv.ac.in. The JEE Advanced 2019 examination this year was topped by Kartikey Gupta Chandresh from Maharashtra. Out of 372, he has obtained 346 marks.
Among all the female candidates, Shabnam Sahay has topped with a CRL of 10. Out of 372, she obtained 308 marks.
The candidates, who want to check their JEE Advanced Result 2019, have to follow the following steps:
Step 1: Go to the official website – (jeeadv.ac.in)
Step 2: Find and click on ‘JEE Advanced Result 2019’ link
Step 3: Feed the specified box with your registration number and other details
Step 4: JEE Advanced 2019 results will show up on the screen
Step 5: Download the result and take a print out of the result.
After the declaration of the JEE Advanced 2019 result, the JEE Advanced rank list or JEE All India Ranks (AIR) will be released category-wise. Regarding this, the candidate will also receive a text message on their registered mobile numbers.
For the four year undergraduate courses in the IITs, JEE Advanced is the second stage of Joint Entrance Examination admission. According to the guidelines of IIT exam governing body – Joint Admission Board (JAB) this exam is conducted by the seven zonal IITs on a rotational basis.
With approximately 11,279 seats there are a total of 23 IITs in India.
With admissions in the IITs, the candidate can also apply for admissions in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Rae Bareli (RGIPT), Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc), Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) and the six Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER)
After the results of JEE Advanced the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will announce the counselling dates.
On the basis of the JEE Main 2019 scores the JoSAA will also be conducting the counselling for NITs and IIITs
