NOIDA- The top package at Shailesh J Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM), IIT Bombay for this year was also Rs 32.4L as same as previous year while there was a hike reported in the average CTC this year. According to a statement released by IIT Bombay on Thursday, this year the average CTC crossed Rs 20L per annum, which was Rs 19.6L per annum last year.
IIT-B maintained a 100% placement record with the placement of all 109 MBA students of 2019 batch during the final placement drive. There were 112 offers raised by 38 companies as per the statement. Last year, there was the same number of offers for the batch of 107 students.
In addition to the regular recruiters, OYO, HSBC, and Tata Global Beverages added to the list of new recruiters.
Head of SJMSOM, Professor S Bhargava, said, “It feels great that we again provided the talent to different industries to manage the diverse functions and roles. It also helps us reinforce the cordiality of relationships with our legacy recruiters, along with building the harmony of new recruiters. The final recruitment drive was successful as the students cracked jobs with excellent packages. Our pursuit of excellence reflects in the remarkable growth in average CTC. It depicts the robust pedagogy adopted at SJMSOM.”
The previous year, the top 20% of students had received an average package of Rs 25.24 lakh per annum; on the other hand, the figure revised to Rs 22.59L per annum for top 50% students.
