IIM Bangalore Wins Yes Bank Case Contest

NOIDA: ‘B Squad’ from IIM Bangalore, consisting of Divya Wadhawan, Farhan Ansari and Swapnil Katiyar- second-year students of the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), has been declared the global winner of Yes Bank Transformation Series Grand Finale 2018, which was conducted recently.

Yes Bank Transformation Series id considered India’s biggest case studies competition for the students of business schools and technology colleges. On 28th November 2018, the grand finale of the 7th edition of this event was held in Mumbai.

Yes Bank organized the grand finale of this event in collaboration with Invest India, the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency, Government of India and provided the finalists with a challenge statement: ‘Promoting Cross Border E-Commerce for Indian MSME Sector’.

There were 15 teams who made it to the event finale and presented exclusive solutions for Invest India, revolving around ‘initiatives to promote India as a leader in MSME exports’, ‘how to increase B2C exports from India’, and ‘how Indian MSMEs can further leverage global opportunities’. Over 30,000 registrations were received by the organizing committee from more than 16,000 teams across India.

The teams of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and Cryptonite’ from Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, IIT Bombay were declared the 1st and 2nd runner-ups respectively.

IIM Bangalore Team Exhibited Innovative Assistive Solutions

Winners were awarded the cash prize of Rs. 5 Lakhs and the 1st & 2nd runner-ups were given Rs. 3 Lakh and Rs. 2 Lakh cash prizes respectively.
