IGNOU Decides to Give Back Fee of SC/ST

Noida – Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to give back fee by facilitating the SC and ST students. It has developed an online portal so as to facilitate the reimbursement of the fee structure under the SCSP/TSP scheme. On the official portal, the students will be able to submit the claims for the reimbursement of the fee amount in the online mode but it will commence only when the portal is run online which is now managed in the offline mode.

The last date for the filing of the fee claim will be February 20’ 2019 and beyond the same date, no application for the same will be considered by the officials. The reimbursement of the fee would be accepted only through the direct transfer in the Bank account of the students through the Direct Benefit Transfer scheme of the Government of India. The students who claim for the reimbursement must hold a bank account and are expected to produce the bank account details according to the application form demands.

The only access to the SCSP/TSP scheme is made to the following academic program students for January 2019 of SC/ST students. The fresh admission in Bachelor degree for B.A, B.Com and BSc, fresh admission in Bachelor Preparatory Programme, and also the re-registration in BDP, BSW and BTS for students who are registered from July’ 2015 cycles are easily accessible for the claiming process of fee reimbursement through SCSP/TSP.
