More to it, the anywhere, anytime access to e-resources will also be provided to the students, as per HRD Minister.
From the upcoming academic session i.e. 2019-20, the digital boards will be installed in the classrooms of standard 9 onwards. According to Javadekar, the prime aim of this operation is to transform the conventional classrooms into digital ones.
He said education sector in India has the biggest challenge to maintain and raise the acceptable education quality standards nationwide.
The HRD Minister stated, “Despite having so many premier and world-class educational institutions in India, still the schools and HEIs (higher education institutions) need to improve in terms of quality pedagogical methods and learning of the students; the students who complete their education from such institutions find themselves not suitable for the society and industry requirements. The emergence of technology in education and better connectivity is the only solution to fix this issue and equity in education quality standards.
