NOIDA- Home Minister Rajnath Singh wholeheartedly appreciated the unforgettable contribution of social reformer Swami Dayananda Saraswati to the growth of education. He said that the Arya Samaj has been tremendously putting efforts to encourage the education for girls. Also, the organization is tirelessly promoting the campaigns for clean environment.

While addressing the attendees at a four-day global convention of the Arya Samaj, Rajnath Singh shared his views about Arya Samaj. He was the chief guest of the function.

He said that the strength of India lies within its cultural integrity and till the time, people in India remain united, India will keep on reinforcing as a powerful nation.

The minister exchanged praiseworthy words for the organization for addressing various societal issues persisting in the country.

“India want to be powerful not just for the benefit of the country but for the entire world and humankind,” Singh said.

The concept of ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam’ has been termed by India, which literally means the world is one family – to the world. “India always promotes the message of culture and humanity, not only within the geographical boundaries of the country, but around the world,” he stated.

He appreciated the level of anticipation of the event attendees in terms of peace and discipline during the global convention of Arya Samaj.

“Arya Samaj is not just an organisation but a thought. It is such a revolutionary thought that awakens and motivates those who are sleeping,” he said.

“In the present scenario, pollution has emerged as a global issue which needs to be addressed by the efforts at international level. Dayananda Saraswati, the founder of Arya Samaj, in his time identified the issue and started ‘Yagya’ to purify the air,” the home minister said.

Moreover, there are over 6000 school running under the flagship of Arya Samaj, which is a remarkable contribution to elevate the level of education in the society.

Mr. Singh also appreciated the wisdom originated in India. He shared that over 800 years before the Pythagoras’ theorem was proved, an Indian talent, Baudhayana had introduced the same concept in Sanskrit.

Greenery should be conserved, education among girls is mandatory, and environment should be less pollutant- Indian culture encompasses all these learning methods.  Swami Dayanand Ji formed Arya Samaj with a vision to convey the same learning to the world. He concluded his speech by declaring India’s culture as the world’s most ancient and richest culture in all terms.
