Noida, 15th September- Haryana Police conducted raids to arrest the accused of the gang rape case of 19-year-old CBSE topper. The incident happened two days before when the young woman was forcefully taken away from the bus stop and drugged and gang raped in Mahendargarh district of Haryana. She was leading to her coaching institute when the incident happened as quoted by the police officials. The special investigation team has taken the charge of this case.
The parents of the school topper who was honored by the Government have blamed the police for not taking instant action against the accused and they were all free to roam around even after the incident happened.
The father of the victim informed the reporters in Rewari “She has quoted the names of three accused; however, she also shared the possibility of about eight to ten people there when this heinous crime happened.
The former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda expressed his disappointment from the law and order of the state and also asked the current CM Manohar Lal Khattar to resign for failing to save the daughters of his state.
Putting his demand to the present CM to quit from the post, Bhupinder Singh further added “The chief minister should quit the post on the grounds of morality. The law and order situation in Haryana is not up to the mark. This horrible and tragic incident witnesses the fact that BJP Government is not capable enough to control the crimes in the state that the Congress did when in power.
On the other side Mr Khattar broke his silence about the incident with the media persons in Rohtak stated that the case will not be taken lightly and the accused will get the punishment soon.
Vinod Kumar, Mahendergarh Superintendent of Police, quoted “We are initiating raids and hope to arrest the culprits very soon,”
She was allegedly abducted by the accused who came in a car and took the woman to the isolated place where they forcefully drugged her through drink and gang raped her, the victim lodged the facts in her FIR.
The young woman was admitted to the hospital in Rewari when she informed about the abdominal pain.
“We have examined her and the ultrasound and X-ray reports were normal, her vitals are also up to the mark and we will also consider the psychiatric opinion before giving her discharge” stated a doctor at Rewari hospital.
The women’s police station official in Rewari stated that ‘zero FIR’ was lodged against the accused and Mahendergarh Police took the charge of investigation as the incident happened in their region of jurisdiction.
