GUJCET 2019: Gujrat Common Entrance Exam extended to April 4, 2019

The GUJCET (Gujrat Common Entrance Test) for the engineering Exam will be conducted on 4th April 2019 which was earlier going to be held on March 30th, 2019 as per the new notification released on January 10th of 2019 by the Gujrat Secondary Education Board. However this is not the first time when the exam date has been changed as before this the same examination was about to be held on 8th March 2019 then extended to 30th March and lastly it got fixed to be conducted on 4th April. Moving ahead towards the reason behind the changes that have been made several times is all because of class XIIth examination which was scheduled for the same day when the exam date for GujCET was set by the GSEB (Gujrat Secondary Examination Board).

Discussing the same with the Gujrat Secondary Education Board (GSEB), the board official stated “ a number of representations said that there was a cental examination on the same date and it would have put the students in a fix. Thus the date has been changed to help candidates.”

The aspirants who will be appearing in GUJCET Exam 2019 to be conducted on 4th April 2019 must be familiar with the important dates and exam patterns.  Now, according to the exam pattern set by the examination conducting body,   the exam will be organized in the offline mode for the time duration of 3 hours. Further, the questions to be asked in the exam will be of objective type comprising total number of 120 questions in which 40 questions will be asked from each subject.
