From November 13, IIT Madras has allowed the applicants of GATE 2019 to make changes in the application form for examination city. Note that the candidates must be cautious while filling the corrected test center in the form. To initiate this, they are supposed to go to the official website of GATE that is gate.iitm.ac.in and need to log into their registered account. After this, they can alter the name of the city as per their convenience and preference. Once the correction is made, the applicants will have to make the payment of the given fees. This correction facility will be available till November 16, 2018. Those who try to make changes after this deadline won’t be able to do that.
GATE or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering will be held in two sessions on February 2, 3 and February 9 and 10, 2019. The correction facility for application form of the entrance exam was commenced from September 27. On the other hand, the facility to alter GATE exam paper was started from October 17.
Indian Institute of Technology or IIT Madras will be the apex authority to organize GATE 2019. The candidates who qualify this entrance exam will get the opportunity to take admission to the post graduate courses in the IITs and others institutions across India.
The syllabus of GATE 2019 will include 24 subjects and some of them are Aerospace Engineering, Architecture and Planning, Agricultural Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Civil Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
There is the addition of one new paper in GATE 2019 and that is Statistics (ST). An applicant is permitted to give only one paper in any one shift. The score of GATE 2019 will be valid for three years right from the day of declaration of the results.
