NOIDA– CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has come forward and declared special relaxation for the wards of ex-army personnel, existing armed force employees, military and para-military forces.
Students that fall under this category will be allowed to change their class 10 and class 12 board exam center within the same city. These students will also be enabled to reappear in the practical exam on 10th April at their respective school, in case they failed to appear in the first round.
Candidates can select the exam center either in their own city or outside. As per the CBSE official release, the benefitted students can appear in any of the offered subjects later.
In the wake of brutal Pulwama attack where 40 CRPF personnel were assassinated by Jaish-E-Mohammad on 14th Feb, CBSE has declared the relaxation for the wards of army personnel.
The official release by CBSE says, ‘CBSE has a responsibility towards the children of those who are fighting against terrorism and “left wing” extremists for India and martyred while serving the nation.’
