NOIDA: The official answer key for the JEE Main 2019 was released by NTA on 14th January 2019 online on the JEE Main website. It will remain available till 17th January 2019 on at jeemain.nic.in. There is a provision of challenging the answer(s) in the JEE Main answer key for the candidates. In case they find any answer incorrect, they can raise the objection and submit the entry of their challenge by 17th January 2019 on the official website only.
After the given date, NTA will not host any objection received by the candidates. Candidates will have to pay a sum of Rs. 1000 online for the each answer they will challenge. As per NTA, the payment can be made using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. The procession fee is refundable if the challenge is found legitimate. Without paying the fee, the candidates will not be able to submit their challenges for scrutiny.
When asked about JEE main result 2019, which is expected on 31st January, NTA said “Evaluation of multiple choice questions of Paper-1 and Paper-2 will be carried out using final answer keys and the raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate will be considered further for computation of the result of JEE (Main)-2019.” The final answer key is yet to be rolled out by NTA, It will be made available after making corrections in the provisional answer key as per the considerations on objections raised by the JEE main candidates.
