CBSE Extends the Class 9th and 11th Registration

Noida 23rd October 2018: Central Board of Secondary Education has extended the registration schedule for the students of class 9th and class 11th. It is mandatory for all the CBSE affiliated schools to finish the registration procedure within the specified schedule. The deadline to complete procedure of registration for the students will be October 30, 2018 without any kind of late fee.

If the schools won’t be able to complete the task as per the specified schedule, they have the option to complete the registration till November 12 provided they need to give the late fee of Rs. 1000.

Even after the deadline of November 12, if some schools will be remaining to register the students, they can go ahead to finish the registration till November 20 by making the payment of Rs 2000 as late fee and also the starting registration fee amount of Rs 150 for schools that are in India, for students of class 9 who are in the schools outside India, the fee amount is Rs 250 and for those who are in class 11 from abroad schools, the fee is Rs 300.

The final deadline for registration will be November 28, 2018 and there will be the late fee of Rs. Note that this is the last extension of the schedule and the dates will not be changed further.

The schedule has been postponed due to the holidays of Dussehra and ‘Titli’ cyclone.

In recent time, MHRD has made revisions in the affiliation norms for CBSE schools and introduced New Affiliation Bye Laws 2018. The New Bye Laws have made the affiliation process simple and easy by bringing more transparency through online process. The inspection in case of infrastructure will be initiated by corresponding state authority and CBSE will be the leading authority to do the inspection of the schools for quality education and learning outcomes. The validity of the affiliation will be of three years.
