NOIDA- IIM Calcutta has released the CAT 2018 result officially now today on 5th January 2019 and the students can check their CAT 2018 score on the official website i.e. There was a buzz regarding the result of CAT 2018 and the students were puzzled on 1st January 2019 when the fake news was viral about CAT 2018 result declaration. But now the result has been officially declared and students can download their scorecard.

How to Check CAT 2018 Result

The process to download the scorecard is as follows:

  • Go to the official website.
  • Login using your registered ID and password.
  • Click on the CAT 2018 Score Card.
  • Download your scorecard.
  • Take a printout of the scorecard.

2018 has been a remarkable year in terms of CAT exam wherein record 2.41 lakh students registered for this largest management entrance exam. In terms of registration, 2018 witnessed the most numbers in the past 8 years. Around 1.8-2.0 lakh students turned up to appear in the CAT 2018 exam. Like previous years, this year also most of the participants were from the engineering background. According to stats, 62.7% CAT examinees were from engineering education background.

As per the expected CAT 2018 cut off, the students who secure 95-99% percentile will be able to secure their admissions in one of the IIMs. The cut off for IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow, and Indore is assumed to be higher than other IIMs. There are total 20 IIMs operational in our country now. Apart from IIM, there are other renowned management institutions that confirm the admission on the basis of CAT 2018 scorecard.

The students, who don’t score up to the mark, are advised to prepare more for the next year without any signs of disappointment.
