CAT 2018 Answer key

CAT 2018 Answer Key has been released by IIM Calcutta on its website. The candidates who have appeared in CAT 2018 exam can access the official answer key by visiting the official website of IIM Calcutta. The candidates can check the official answer key also on this page; we have provided a link in the middle of this page to check the answer key. The CAT 2018 Answer Key is made available in PDF format only for both shift of CAT 2018 exam. After checking the CAT answer key 2018, if any candidate has doubt or objection, they can complaint against it by making payment of required fee.

The official released CAT answer key contains the right answers of the questions asked in the entrance exam. In the answer key of CAT exam, the correct answers are marked with green and incorrect answers are red. The candidates can cross-check the answer with the response sheet released by the conducting body on its website earlier. Through the official CAT 2018 Answer Key, the candidates can estimate the probable score they can secure in the CAT 2018 exam based on their performance in the test. While checking the answer key of CAT exam and estimate the probable score they can get, the candidates are suggested to keep the marking scheme in their mind.

CAT 2018 exam was held on 25 November 2018 at over 370 centres across the country and lakhs of students have appeared in the exam. The candidates can check the CAT 2018 exam result tentatively in the second week of January 2019. For each correct answer, 3 marks will be given to the candidates and 1 mark would be deducted for each incorrect answer. There is no negative marking for Non-MCQ type questions asked in the entrance exam.

How to Complaint Against Discrepancies?

After checking the CAT 2018 Answer Key, if any candidate finds discrepancies in the answer key, they can challenge it by sending the complaint against it.  The candidates can challenge by making payment of Rs 1200 (GST excluded) per question. To send the objection, the candidates have to visit the official website of IIM Calcutta and click on the “objection” tab. Thereafter, a new window will open where, the candidates have to enter the shift, section name, question Id, type of objection, and remarks. Thereafter, the candidates have to upload the objections and pay the applicable amount. The exam conducting body will check the objection received from the candidates across the country. If the IIM Calcutta finds the received objection true, they will correct it and release the final answer key and refund the amount of fee that the candidates have paid.
