Noida: The application form for UPSEE has been released by the examination conducting authority i.e. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (APJAKTU) on 23rd January 2019 in online mode only. However, candidates can submit the application form until 15th March 2019 to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate program from top colleges in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
Candidates before filling the application form must go through the eligibility criteria to ensure that they fulfill the requirements set by the examination regulating body. Therefore, according to the prescribed eligibility criteria, candidates to pursue undergraduate program must have 3-year bachelor degree from a recognized university with 50% of aggregate marks (for general category candidates) whereas, those belonging the reserved category i.e. of SC/ST are given relaxation of 5% and they need to have acquired 45% of aggregate marks. Coming next to the candidates willing to pursue undergraduate program must have completed their 10+2 with 50% marks and those of SC/ST required having 45% marks. Also, for B.Tech, B. pharm, etc. candidates must have done their completed with Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Mathematics. Besides, those who have qualified in CAT/MAT/CMAT exam are also eligible and most importantly, there is no age limit for the candidates to apply for UPSEE.
However, candidates who have made the mindset to appear for UPSEE 2019 ought to know the detailed step which is required to fill the application form. Thus, let’s go through the steps mentioned below for the ease of the candidates:
- Make a visit to the official website of UPSEE
- Click on ‘Apply button’ which will be available on the home page
- Enter the personal as well as educational details
- Choose the exam centre
- The login credentials i.e. application number and password will be generated which the candidates need to keep safe for the further reference
- Check the filled-in details and click on ‘submit’ details
- Further, upload the scanned photograph, signature, and left hand thumb impression
- Lastly make the payment of the application fee
Now, the candidates for the successful submission of the application form need to remit the application fee which is Rs. 1300/- for general category male and transgender candidates whereas, for SC/ST/female/ PwD candidates, the application fee is Rs. 650/-. Candidates have to pay the application fee in online mode only using credit card, debit card or net banking. Lastly, post submission of the application form successfully; take the print out of the confirmation page for the further usage.
In case of any mistake in the application form committed by the candidates, the examination officials will open the application form correction window until 5th April 2019. But the candidates must be clear that they won’t get any chance to edit the details such as their name, date of birth, and contacts. Further, to make changes click on ‘Application Edit’ option and post bringing changes and verifying the entered details click on ‘submit’ button.
