This year NEET 2017 UG examination is conducted in order for admission to BDS/MBBS courses which are offered by all private and government medical colleges in India. NEET 2017 would be organised by the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) in offline mode.
NEET is conducted once every year in the month of May. The previously existing AIPMT exam was replaced by NEET exam in the year 2016 onwards. As per the last order released by Hon. Supreme Court, no other exam except NEET would be conducted in order for admission into BDS/MBBS courses in India from the year 2017.

NEET 2017 UG Application Form
The NEET 2017 UG Application Form procedure is an online process.
You would have to visit the official website and download the NEET Application Form. Once you have downloaded the application form you would have to fill up all the necessary details mentioned in the application form. After completely filling up the application form, candidates would have to send the confirmation page along with all the necessary documents to the following address mentioned below:

Documents to be Prepared for NEET Application:
- Valid Aadhaar card
- Recent coloured passport size Photograph
- Personal, academic and address details
- Recent coloured photograph scan copy (size between 10KB to 100KB)
- Signature scan copy (size between 3kb to 20kb)
- Right-hand index finger scan copy (size between 3kb to 20kb)
- Debit/Credit card or payment details
- Valid Email ID and password
NEET 2017 UG Application Fee:
The application fees can be paid either through the online/offline process:
- Online Process: Candidates would have to pay the fees through debit/credit card using an online payment gateway.
- Offline Process: Candidates would have to make the payment through the bank challan.

NEET 2017 UG Eligibility Criteria
All the candidates are requested to read the NEET 2017 UG Eligibility Criteria before filling up the application form in order to appear for the NEET examination.
Nationality: Candidates need to be of Indian Nationality or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) in order to be eligible.
Age Limit: Candidates need to be a minimum of 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission whereas he/she should not exceed 25 years of age for general category and 30 years of age for reserved category in order to be eligible.
Education Qualification: Candidates need to have cleared or currently appearing class 12th or equivalent exam from any recognised board with Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology or any other elective subject with English. Candidates need to have secured at least 50% marks in PCB group for general category and 45% for general PH and 40% for ST/SC/OBC category.
NEET 2017 UG Admit Card
The NEET 2017 UG Admit Card will be available for the candidates to download from 15th April 2017 and it will be provided via online mode only through the official portal of NEET. The admit card will not be sent via email or post. The admit card will contain exam and candidates related details like exam date, exam centre, name and roll number of the candidate.
NEET 2017 UG Exam Pattern
The NEET 2017 exam would be conducted in offline mode (written exam) for a duration of 3 hours. The question paper would consist of a total of 180 multiple choice questions. 4 marks would be given for every correct answer and 1 mark would be deducted for every incorrect answer. The question paper would be in both English or Hindi language. The NEET 2017 UG Exam Pattern is given below:

NEET 2017 UG Syllabus
The NEET 2017 UG syllabus would consist of 4 parts, i.e. Chemistry, Physics, Botany and Zoology. The syllabus contains the 11th and 12th board (CBSE & NCERT) academic syllabus. Apart from these, some part comes from the other board’s syllabus. The syllabus would include common syllabus notified by the Medical Council of India(MCI). Candidates need to make sure they are well prepared before appearing for the exam.

NEET 2017 UG Seat Reservation

NEET 2017 Result Notification
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will publish the NEET 2017 UG Result on the 8th June 2017. Candidates can check the NEET 2017 UG Result through the official portal of NEET. Candidates are requested to take the printout of the result (hardcopy) and keep it safe till the admission procedure is complete. The performance and marks scored by the candidates appearing for the NEET 2017 UG examination will matter in the process of preparing the merit list.
NEET 2017 UG Counselling
NEET 2017 UG Counselling process will be conducted by The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) for 15% All India Quota through online mode. Candidates will admissions on the basis of marks scored by them in the entrance examination of NEET 2017 UG. Various counselling authorities will organise different NEET 2017 UG Counselling for state quota, central institutions and universities. In counselling process, candidates will be allowed to choose the colleges as per their choices. Seats will be allotted to candidates as per choices filled by them in the application form and availability of seats.
NEET 2017 UG Answer Key
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will officially launch the NEET 2017 UG Answer Key for all sets in the 2nd week of May 2017 and can be downloaded via online mode only. Answer key help candidates to give them overall ideas of their performance in the examination. The answer key contains all the answers to those questions asked in the entrance test.
