Check out National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Post Graduate) 2017 paper pattern, test centres and other important details.

The National Board of Examination (NBE) has declared an official notification of National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (PG) 2017 on its official website, nbe.edu.in.

    The registration process will start from September 26 to October 31.

    The examination would be conducted between December 5 and December 13 and the results will be released on 15 January 2017.

    Paper pattern:

    The curriculum for the exam shall consist of subjects/knowledge areas as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by Medical Council of India with prior approval of Government of India.

    • The examination shall be a multiple choice questions (MCQ)  exam delivered on computer based platform (CBT)
    • The paper would comprise of 300 Multiple Choices, single correct response questions in English language only
    • The exam duration will be for 3 hours 30 minutes
    • This examination has no negative marking

    About NEET PG:

    NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination to different MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956.

    It is a single window entrance examination for PG courses. No other entrance examination, either at state or institution level, shall be applicable for entry to MD/MS/PG diploma courses as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 w.e.f. 2017 admission session.
