Mumbai University LL.B & BBA-LL.B Admissions 2017 Eligibility Criteria

You need to have cleared class 12th exam from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks for general category and 40% marks in case of reserved category.

Age: You should not be more than 20 years of age as on 1st July, 2016.

How to apply for Mumbai University LL.B & BBA-LL.B Admissions 2017?

You would have to visit the official website of the university and download and print the application form. Then you would have to fill up the form with all the required details and affix a passport size photo in the space provided.

Application Fee: You would have to pay the following application fee through DD(Demand Draft) which is drawn in favor of “Finance and Accounts Officer, University of Mumbai” payable at Mumbai issued by any nationalized bank:

General category Rs. 2000
Reserved category Rs. 1000

You need to mention your name and contact number behind the DD (Demand Draft)

Enclosures: The following documents need to be submitted along with the application.

  • 2 passport size photographs
  • Attested Copies of Mark sheet of SSC (10th or equivalent) & HSC [(10+2) or equivalent]
  • Attested Copy of Domicile Certificate (if applicable)
  • Attested Copy of Caste Certificate (if applicable)

2 photocopies of the certificate sets need to be attested (by a Gazette Officer or Notary Public or Principal or Head of Educational Institution or a Nationalized Bank’s Manager).

Mumbai University LL.B & BBA-LL.B Admissions 2017 Selection Process

Candidates would be selected based on the MUCLET (Mumbai University Common Law Entrance Test) 2016.It is an all India exam and you would be selected on the basis of your merit rank obtained in this exam.

The paper consists of a total of 100 questions that need to be answered in 2 hours. The exam would be held in written mode where answers need to be marked using black ball point pen only. The entrance exam would be held in English language only.

The questions for MUCLET consists of MCQs from subjects like Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Logical/Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness.
