Mumbai University BMS-MBA Admissions 2017 Eligibility Criteria

You need to have cleared class 12th or its equivalent certificate from a recognized board with at least 45% marks in total for general category and 40% marks in total in case of Reserved category from Commerce, Science , Arts  or any other discipline / stream.

Age: Those who belong to general category need to be a minimum of 20 years of age as on 13th May 2017 whereas those who belong to Reserved Category and PWD individuals should be 22 years of age.

How to apply for Mumbai University BMS-MBA Admissions 2017?

First you would have to visit the official website of the University of Mumbai and follow the link for admission for Integrated Management Program (BMS-MBA).

Then you would have to register yourself by filling up the online form which is available at the website. Then you would have to take a print out of the application form.

Application Fee: You need to visit the payment link and pay the fees mentioned below. The payment needs to be made through Demand Draft of Nationalized Bank in favor of “Finance and Accounts Officer, University of Mumbai” to be submitted at Than Sub Campus.

Rs 500 /- for open category
Rs. 250 for reserved category

You would then have to print the payment confirmation page and attach it along with the copy of application form.

A hall ticket would be included on the form. You would have to fill the complete information on it and paste your recent passport size photo.

All of these documents (printed application form, payment details and hall ticket) would be needed to be submitted to the address mentioned below in person on or before the last date from 11.00 to 4.00 pm (1.00 pm to 1.30 pm Lunch break):

Mumbai University BMS-MBA Admissions 2017 Selection Process

You would be selected based on All India Merit Rank of MUCMET (Mumbai University Common Management Entrance Test) 2017 for Integrated Management Program. MUCMET 2017 exam would be on the basis of Multiple Choice of Questions. The test would be divided into 4 secttions i.e. Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Logical/Abstract Reasoning and General Knowledge. The question paper would be conducted for a duration of 2 hours having a total of 100 questions. The paper would be in English language only.

For Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension: Your English language ability would be tested through questions on: understanding of the contents of the passage and choice of appropriate words, phrases, expressions and similar language skills.

For Logical/Abstract Reasoning: This test would measure how quickly and accurately you can think. It also would have questions based on figures and diagrams.
