MUCLET 2017 – Mumbai University Common Law Entrance Test

Mumbai University Common Law Entrance Test commonly known as MUCLET 2017 exam and is a state level exam. This law entrance test is conducted to offer admission to students in 5-year Integrated Programme in L.L.B and B.B.A in different colleges. Students who are willing to appear for the examination can download the application form from the official website beginning June 2017.

The MUCLET test is conducted by one of the oldest University known as University of Mumbai. This university is affiliated by NAAC, UGC, AIU and it has two post-graduate centres, 36 departments and 354 associated colleges. The test will be conducted at different examination centres and admission will be based on merit basis. The MUCLET exam shall be conducted in the month of July 2017.

MUCLET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants need to satisfy the below conditions to be eligible for MUCLET 2017 Exam:

  • Applicant ought to be passed in Higher Secondary Certificate examination or (10+2) or its equivalent degree from a recognised university to apply for the test.
  • Applicant must not exceed 20 years of age to apply for the course and 2 years of upper age relaxation for SC /ST candidates.
  • Applicant should score at least 45% of aggregate marks in their HSC/ 10+2 exam to be eligible (40% in case of SC/ ST category students)

MUCLET 2017 Application form

The applicant can fill the MUCLET form through the following steps:

Step 1: Applicants are required to open and click on MUCLET application form link to register.

Step 2: Applicants need to enter their basic details and will receive a registration number & password on email and mobile.

Step 3: Applicant need to log in and fill in their personal, qualification and other details as mentioned in the form.

Step 4: Applicants have to pay their application fees offline through Demand Draft of Rs 500/- (General Category) and Rs 250/- (Reserved Category)

Step 5: Applicant should take a printout of the application and send it along with DD and photocopies as per the requirement to the University of Mumbai Thane Sub-Campus, Balkum, Runwal Garden, Thane-Bhiwandi Road, Balkum Octroi Naka, Thane- 400608.

      If you have met all the following eligibility criteria, then you can apply for MUCLET 2017. You must have passed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC)/ (10+2)/ any equivalent degree from any recognised university to apply for the test. You must not exceed 20 years of age to apply for this course ( There will be 2 years of upper age relaxation for SC /ST candidates, which means their age limit will be 22 years). You must have scored a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in your HSC/ 10+2/ equivalent examination to be eligible for MUCLET 2017 (40% in case of SC/ ST category students).
