It is pre requisite exam for admissions to undergraduate health sciences courses i.e. MBBS/BDS and Nursing in various private dental and medical colleges across Madhya Pradesh state.
Eligibility Criteria for MP DMAT 2017
As per the Eligibility of MP DMAT, candidates of class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for the application cum registration of the exam. The MP DMAT Eligibility is prescribed by the official exam conducting body, which is Association Of Private Dental and Medical Colleges of Madhya Pradesh. In case of reserved category candidates, they must have 40% marks in their HSC.
Candidates who aspire to appear in the MP DMAT exam must have the following Eligibility Criteria:
- For admission to MBBS/BDS Courses, those candidates who have passed the qualifying examination of 10+2 from Board of Secondary Education M.P. or CBSE having passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects individually and have secured at least minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined together and must have passed in English also.
- Those who have passed any equivalent or higher examination with the aforesaid subjects from any other recognized Board, University with the percentage of marks as mentioned above.
- Any other qualification recognized by Govt. of India/Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India as recognized qualification for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses.
If a candidate is eligible to apply he must apply either online or offline by filling the details. The application forms are available from July 6, 2015 for the eligible candidates to fill. The offline forms will be available on State bank of India branches at a cash payment of Rs. 750 or at a payment of Rs 850 via DD from participating colleges.
