The Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad – Admission Test (MICAT) is a University level entrance examination which will be commenced by MICA (Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad). Applicants who all are getting qualified in MICAT 2018 will be getting admission into the course for PGDM – C (Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Communication).

The registration process for MICAT 2018 will be as follows. The process of MICAT 2018 will be commenced in online mode only. All the applicants will not be able to send their application in any other mode. The process for MICAT 1 has begun from the 26th September of 2017. According to the official information, the MICAT 2 will begin from the 3rd January of 2018. All the aspirants are advised to fill the application form before the last date.

The last dates for MICAT 1 & MICAT 2 will be different, the last date for MICAT 1 will be 30th November of 2017 and the same for MICAT 2 will be 5th February of 2018. The authorities will officially accept each application after the successful submission of application fee only.

MICAT 2018 Registration Process – Application Fee

The application for every candidate will be same and that will be rupees 1965/-. All the aspirants will be able to submit the fee through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ DD (Demand Draft)/ Cash Payment at Counter or Office of MICA. All the aspirants who are paying the fee through DD must notice that the same must be drawn in the favour of MICA and must be payable at Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Candidates must remember that the application fee is not refundable.

MICAT Eligibility Criteria 2017MICAT 2018 – Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of MICAT 2018 will be as follows. All the applicants who are going to apply in for MICAT 2018 must notice that they should qualify the eligibility criteria in order to appear in for MICAT 2018. Aspirants who do not satisfy the eligibility criteria norms will not be allowed to apply in for MICAT 2018. The applicants who all are going to apply in for MICAT 2018 must qualify the qualifying examination for the same.

The qualifying examination will be any bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3 pattern or any equivalent examination which must be recognized by AIU. Aspirants who all are appearing in for the final year of the qualifying examination also will be eligible to apply. From 2015 onwards, the MICAT authority has said that candidates must obtain the valid score of any of the following examinations such as CAT 2017/ XAT 2018/ or GMAT.

The exam pattern of MICAT 2018 will be as follows. The MICAT 2018 will be commenced in online mode as a CBT (Computer Based Test). There will be no negative marking in Part 1 of MICAT 2018. There will be negative marking in section 2 and section 3 of part2 and the same will be 25%.

MICAT 2018 – Admit Card

The official authority of MICAT will be announcing the Admit Card of MICAT 2018 for the examination. All the applicants who have successfully applied in and going to appear in MICAT 2018 will be getting the Admit Card of the same send by the authority to the email of the respected applicant. Aspirants will be able to download the admit card from the official website of MICA. All the applicants must notice that it is important to bring the MICAT 2018 Admit Card on the examination day.

Aspirants who do not carry the official Admit Card of MICAT 2018 will be prohibited from taking the examination. All the aspirants are advised to carry the Admit Card of MICAT 2018 mandatorily along with the valid photo ID on the examination hall. It is expected that the official MICAT 2018 admit card will be available from the 11th December of 2017.

MICAT 2018 – Result

The official result of MICAT 2018 will be announced on the official website of MICA by MICA. According to the officials, the official result of MICAT 2018 will be announced on 3rd January of 2018. Applicants who all are getting qualified in MICAT 2018 will be called up for the further stages of selection, which will be GE/ PI. The final result of MICAT 2018 will be declared by the official authority on 31st March of 2018.

MICAT 2018 – Admission

The admission process of MICAT will be based on the scores obtained by candidates in GE/ PI round of MICAT 2018. 50% weightage will be provided on MICAT 2018 and 18% weightage will be given to GE, the same will be 30% in order to PI and there will be a 2% weightage will be remaining that will go for CAT/ XAT/ GMAT scaled scores.

All the applicants who are applying in PGDM C course must notice that the better of 2 MICAT score will be considered for admission process. If the respected applicant has appeared in CAT/ XAT/ or CAT and GMAT/ or XAT & GMAT, then the better of two/ best of three examinations will be considered for the admission.

  1. I want to know,in section A where there is a writing argument which says we have to write for ,against the topic and our actual point do we have to write like

    if our views is for “for the statement” we will just fill the for topic and our views section and the against portion will be blank

    Or

    We have to fill all the three sections irrespective of our view is for or against?
